About the Speakers

Dr Leo S. Lo serves as the Dean and Professor at the College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences at the University of New Mexico. He is also the President-Elect of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL). His work centers on integrating AI into library services and advancing AI literacy. Currently, he leads his university’s AI Empowerment Initiatives, which aim to elevate the community’s AI literacy and teach intelligent, responsible use of the technology.

Dr Tom Chatfield is an author, tech philosopher, and leading voice in critical thinking, AI, and ethics. He is passionate about helping people make sense of technology’s role in their lives and developing the skills to think critically about the information they encounter. Tom is also the author of Sage’s new White Paper on Human Skills for an AI age - how today's business schools can develop tomorrow's leaders, which will be published in early April.
